National Diabetes Audit: The Benefits of a Reproducible Analytical Pipeline in Improving Diabetes Data
This session will cover the background of what Reproducible Analytical Pipelines are and summarise the main benefits of building one. It will then show how that has been applied within the National Diabetes Audit with an update on progress of the various NDA RAP projects as well as a demonstration of outputs. The direct and indirect benefits this has for the quality and timeliness of NDA data will be covered, as well as a showcase of some NDA products that will benefit from many analytical processes being built into a RAP.
Learning outcomes:
- What a Reproducible Analytical Pipeline is and what it means for a process to be reproducible
- The benefits of RAP processes for data products
- How these benefits apply to stakeholders
