Diabetes healthcare has an environmental impact – the management of diabetes and its complications generates substantial carbon emissions. Those looking after people and those living with diabetes can contribute to environmental sustainability. This session will look at how North East and Yorkshire are reducing carbon emissions and tackling how diabetes products should be disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way.
