Cardiometabolic diseases are largely preventable, and often reversible, through improvements in 'modifiable risk factors' - largely lifestyle factors. Whilst 'lifestyle improvements' are mentioned in NICE guidelines, clinicians are often unsure what to prioritise, how effective lifestyle shifts can be and how to help patients achieve behaviour change in brief consultations. This talk will help healthcare professionals with all of these issues.
