The impact of lived experience on improving care for people living with diabetes through the delivery of the National Diabetes Experience Survey
This session will focus on the delivery of the first national experience survey of people living with diabetes, particularly from the perspective of involving lived experience throughout the process.
It will cover:
- Best practice in involving people with lived experience in every stage of a programme
- Lived experience input examples leading to improvements to the programme
- Plans for the next phases of the programme - with a focus on:
- When to expect the results
- Best practice of how to use the information to improve diabetes care and
- The ambitions of the lived experience partners for the impact of the survey results
