Early Onset Type 2 Diabetes: Targeting high risk individuals

The Leicester Diabetes Centre has an extensive clinical and academic track record into early-onset type 2 diabetes (EOT2D) and were one of the first groups to recognise and highlight the lack of targeted research in young adults with type 2 diabetes. The introduction of the T2Day programme, has allowed us to work together with primary care to identify and target those individuals at the highest risk. The session will focus on our work to date with the adoption of the T2Day programme in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
