Diabetes Professional Care opened its doors on 21-22 October 2024 at Olympia London to 2,400+ professionals across primary and secondary care who gathered to discuss the latest developments in treating, managing and supporting those living with diabetes and its related conditions. 

The conference explored a holistic approach to optimising the complete patient pathway, fostering collaboration across the spectrum of care and taking an end-to-end view of treating and managing diabetes in a comprehensive programme covering critical policy updates, patient management strategies, advanced treatments, cutting-edge technologies, and much more.

Highlights included a national update from the NHS Diabetes Programme, delivered by the new National Clinical Director for Diabetes and Obesity at NHS England, Dr Clare Hambling.  Also, a panel discussion on the challenges and lessons learnt from the hybrid closed loop system roll out by Partha Kar, Ian Lawrence, James Ridgeway, and Michael Skarlatos.

Key organisations supported the development of the programme and speaker faculty, including DSN Forum UK, Leicester Diabetes Centre, Institute of Podiatrists, JDRF, Primary Care Dietitians and Primary Care Cardiovascular Society.
