DPC launches action-packed online hub for diabetes “critical content”

DPC launches action-packed online hub for diabetes “critical content”

An “online library” with virtual shelves stacked high with the very latest diabetes training videos, webinars and toolkit training card resources is being launched.

Diabetes Professional Care (DPC) has created the DPC Digital Hub, an innovative platform that will host all the forward-thinking content created by the leading organisation.

Much thought has gone into the design of the site so members can easily search for content type and different topics.

Each healthcare professional who signs up will receive their own unique log in which will automatically provide them access to all published DPC articles, interviews with leading people from the field of diabetes and recorded DPC conference sessions.

DPC Founder Maggie Meer said: “We’re thrilled and excited to launch this one-stop online library for all the educational content we provide. We recognised very early on during the pandemic, that despite the challenges that COVID-19 was presenting, healthcare professionals still needed access to the latest education. When experts discovered a link between diabetes and coronavirus, overnight access to good-quality research and guidelines became essential.

“It was this requirement that led us to launching our Forum series which brought together some of the country’s most respected healthcare professionals working within the field of diabetes.

“Over the last 18 months we’ve created critical content that many clinicians have told us has helped them deliver the best possible care to people with diabetes during course of the pandemic. But, with so much content we needed a simple way for everyone to access it, which is why we decided to launch the DPC Digital Hub.”

CPD points will be awarded for those who access the on-demand webinars.
