Bridget leads on Patient Involvement for the NHS England / Diabetes UK partnership, to ensure that the voices of people living with Diabetes and those at risk of type 2 are heard, and used to help to shape the NHS Diabetes programme for the future.
She has worked for over 20 years in patient experience and involvement, previously working as Director of Health Experiences for Picker, where she focussed on gaining feedback from lesser heard groups about their healthcare experiences.
She has a passion for involvement and lived experience and ensuring that it used to drive change in healthcare services.
