Caroline Jowett manages the Diabetes Clinical Network in Yorkshire and the Humber. Her background is in programme management, transformation, strategic and operational planning and partnership working. She has worked in the NHS in various roles for the past 33 years but in each of these roles has endeavoured to keep the patient at the centre of planning and striving for service improvement. Over the past two years she has successfully expanded the Diabetes Clinical Network to provide the clinical leadership and structure to support diabetes colleagues in the delivery of the National Diabetes Programme priorities across Yorkshire and the Humber and to provide the entire Diabetes community with a place to share learning and innovation.
