Working as a consultant in both General Paediatrics and Children and Young People's Diabetes since 2014. I have developed a particular area of interest in improving outcomes for young people moving though diabetes transition to adult services, particularly focusing on those young people with significant socioeconomic disadvantage. I have previously had significant roles within medical student education in my trust and currently hold a role as Digital Lead within the Family Board of Newcastle Hospitals, seeking to improve our digital infrastructure.
