Liz has been working to improve health and wellbeing in Norfolk for more than 15 years. She has a background in public health, leading and managing numerous health improvement interventions for Norfolk County Council, and leading Diabetes for the Integrated Care Board for almost a year. Liz works closely with service providers from across the Norfolk and Waveney Integrated Care System, with much of the focus currently on implementation of a new model of diabetes care. This is alongside leading the development and implementation of pathway transformation initiatives to improve diabetes care including: Mobilisation of Hybrid Closed Loop systems, Type 1 Disordered Eating (T1DE) service and Enhanced Primary Care pilots. Liz also oversees a number of Secondary Prevention initiatives which includes for example: ensuring completion of Diabetes Care Process, and engaging patients with diabetes into Structured Education and Remission programmes.
