Jennifer Mohammadi

Involvement Officer, Diabetes UK
Jennifer works as an Involvement Officer at Diabetes UK. The team's primary mission is to empower individuals impacted by diabetes, enabling them to leverage their experiences to drive meaningful change within the charity. This ensures that the organisation's efforts are closely aligned with the desires and requirements of those living with diabetes. Jennifer also volunteers for the Type 1 Events team and Communities in Action at Diabetes UK. Jennifer completed her MSc in Global Public Health with her dissertation focussing on the differences in clinical presentation of burnout, self-harm via insulin mismanagement and Diabulimia in people with type 1 diabetes. She is part of the Cheshire & Merseyside Type 1 Diabetes and Disordered Eating Service Steering Group. Jennifer won the 2022 Westminster Alumni Social Impact Award for her active role in advocating for care experienced young people and she continues to be a trustee for Live Unlimited, a charity dedicated to empowering children in care and care leavers in Barnet, London.
