Josie Clarkson is the Research Communications Lead at JDRF UK, the type 1 diabetes research charity. She holds a Neuroscience BSc. from the University of Nottingham and a Science Communications MSc. from Imperial College London. Having previously developed television documentaries and worked for multiple dementia research organisations, Josie now visits diabetes research labs and conferences to get the latest type 1 diabetes research updates. She then translates this research into accessible formats for a wide range of JDRF audiences.
