Diabetes Specialist Nurse, Transition Outreach Clinical Lead, Transition Safe and Sound (TraSS), Southampton Childrens Hospital
I am a diabetes specialist transition outreach nurse working across Southampton and Southwest Hampshire with young adults up to 25years old. I also works in West Hampshire Community Diabetes Service. My interests include enhancing care for young adults, diabetes and mental health including eating disorders, peer support and cognitive impairment in type 1 diabetes. I have been involved in research projects and enjoy working alongside people living with diabetes to find out what’s important to them. I enjoy swimming in the sea, cycling and walking my pup, Molly, in the new forest.
