Roxanne is a postdoctoral ophthalmic nurse researcher, lead nurse for research at Moorfields Eye Hospital, an honorary Associate Professor at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology and an NIHR/HEE Clinical Lecturer. She is passionate about improving ophthalmic patient related outcomes through the modelling of real-world clinical data to deliver personalised healthcare. She is a Trustee of GlaucomaUK and also an alumnus of the Florence Nightingale scholar programme, the NIHR 70@70 senior research leader programme, the inaugural Topol/Health Education England Digital Health Fellow programme, and an Associate Editor of the Evidence-Based Nursing journal. Roxanne has several peer-reviewed publications and oral/poster presentations at national and international conferences. She received the Nursing Times award for Clinical Research Nursing in October 2021 for the Research Opportunities at Moorfields online platform which increases patient/public access to research conducted at Moorfields. She has been listed as one of 75 faces of nursing research for this year's NHS 75th birthday celebrations by the NHS England CNO research team.
