A Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of NHS experience and is currently working as a programme manager in NWL. Her work has been acknowledged in many communities, improving long term conditions including Diabetes, CVD and obesity through education and development of culturally specific dietary resources including the "World Food Book" by Carbs & Cals. Salma has contributed to a number of dietary cultural resources and content creation for a number of digital diabetes platforms including DigiBete, MyWay digital health, Diabetes and Ramadan Alliance Ramadan (DaR), Diabetes UK, Kidney UK and the South Asian Health Foundation. Her passion to address health inequalities through tailored nutrition and lifestyle advice has reflected in many projects related to improving community health and long term conditions, and shared as a Core20+5 Ambassador for NHSE.
