As an experienced, qualified and highly motivated leader of NHS transformational change programmes, Shaun joined the national team in July 2022 to lead on diabetes policy in his capacity as NHS England’s Diabetes Programme Director. Over the last fifteen years, Shaun has gained significant senior NHS leadership experience in implementing large scale change programmes in partnership with a wide range of stakeholders. National strategic priorities Shaun has led the implementation of in the London region include: diabetes transformation, obesity weight management, palliative and end of life care, frailty, dementia, mental health and social inclusion, improving access to psychological therapies, personalised care and social prescribing. Shaun is passionate about improving population health outcomes, addressing unwarranted variation, tackling health inequalities and making a difference to people’s lives.
